How to Make Grants to AngelOne from a DAF

Recommending a grant to AngelOne from your Donor-Advised Fund is a straightforward process:

 

1. Contact Your DAF Sponsor: Begin by reaching out to the organization that manages your DAF (such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or a community foundation).

2. Provide Grant Details: When recommending a grant, you will typically need to provide the following information:

 

  • Name of the organization: AngelOne, Inc.

  • Address: P.O. Box 1093, Calimesa, CA 92320

  • Tax Identification Number (EIN): 85-3448321

  • Purpose of the grant (optional): Specify if you’d like the grant to be used for a particular project or leave it unrestricted for general support.

3. Submit Your Recommendation: Once you submit your grant recommendation, the DAF sponsor will review and approve it, and then disburse the funds directly to AngelOne.

What Is a (DAF) ? 

A Donor-Advised Fund is established by making an irrevocable contribution to a public charity that sponsors DAFs, such as a community foundation or a financial institution with a charitable branch. Once your contribution is made, it is invested according to your preferences, and you can recommend how and when funds are granted to AngelOne or other qualified charities.

Immediate Tax Deduction

When you contribute to a DAF, you receive an immediate tax deduction, even though the grants to charities can be made over time. The deduction is generally based on the fair market value of your contribution, which can include cash, stocks, or other appreciated assets.

Investment Growth
